Born in Newton, MA, Dr. Jonathan Bishop is a highly skilled oral surgeon serving patients in Waltham. He pursued undergraduate studies in both Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology and Education at Emory University. He was awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree (Cum Laude) from Tufts University and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. He served as resident and chief resident in oral & maxillofacial surgery at Tufts University, where he trained extensively in dentoalveolar surgery, including implant placement and bone grafting, trauma and reconstructive surgery, pathology, TMJ surgery, orthognathic surgery, and anesthesiology. He is also currently on staff at Metrowest Medical Center.
In his free time, Dr. Bishop enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family. He is passionate about helping his patients achieve optimal oral health and looks forward to providing exceptional care to the Waltham communities.
