Our Team

Born in Newton, MA, Dr. Jonathan Bishop is a highly skilled oral surgeon serving patients in Waltham. He pursued undergraduate studies in both Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology and Education at Emory University. He was awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree (Cum Laude) from Tufts University and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. He served as resident and chief resident in oral & maxillofacial surgery at Tufts University, where he trained extensively in dentoalveolar surgery, including implant placement and bone grafting, trauma and reconstructive surgery, pathology, TMJ surgery, orthognathic surgery, and anesthesiology. He is also currently on staff at Metrowest Medical Center.

Dr. Kenneth MacAfee is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who served the Waltham community for more than 30 years. A respected surgeon with a longstanding reputation for clinical excellence, he helped build the strong foundation and trusted patient relationships that continue at Highland Oral Surgery & Implant Center today.

Dr. MacAfee is now recently retired from active practice. We are proud to continue serving the community from the same office longtime patients know and trust, while honoring his many years of care and contribution to the practice.
